We are facing a scenario of great beauty. Pinkerton, commander of one of the American ships, falls in love with a beautiful young Japanese and buy a house to live with her on top of a hill, which overlooks the port of Nagasaki.

Children 1st year enchanted up every day with discoveries, dramas and especially with asurpreendente Japanese house, with walls that are large panels of paper so thin that slide back and forth, creating room in the house, as desire of its owner.

The American Consul attends the wedding of his old friend Pinkerton, and is entranced by the view of the house on the hill, the calm sea and the harbor full of ships. The Consul asks the bride, wants to know how she is. Pinkerton, passionate, makes the fairest comparisons: - She is beautiful as fresh flowers, is like a star with rays of light, but fragile as a glass ball and light as a butterfly. Butterfly or Butterfly is his name.

A song plays in the distance. Butterflay and girlfriends go up the hill with his breathtaking gowns. She introduces herself and says: - I am the luckiest woman in all of Japan
Relatives and friends admire her beauty. Celebrates the marriage, all sing, dance, rejoice. This trip to the origins of Japan, with its ancient traditions, our children involved in a magical atmosphere in which to mingle religion and the sacred bonds of marriage with the harsh reality of war. The presence of the U.S. Navy in Nagasaki breaking traditions and causes suffering.

The beautiful drama of Madame Butterfly, counted by the melodies of Puccini, is one of the most beautiful pieces of music culture of all time. A great show!
