The Project Opera for All has been in development since 1997 at the Dom Bosco School, São Luís, Brazil. In 2003 it was expanded to the Teacher Luiz Pinho Rodrigues Community School, which is supported by the Áurea Faria Charity, in the neighbourhood of Divinéia, on the outskirts of São Luís, Brazil.

Taking the project to the impoverished children of this community has been a great challenge. However, the outcomes are comparable to those achieved by children who come from cultural environments richer in terms of encouragement and activities.
