We are facing a scenario of great beauty. Pinkerton, commander of one of the American ships, falls in love with a beautiful young Japanese and buy a house to live with her on top of a hill, which overlooks the port of Nagasaki.

Children 1st year enchanted up every day with discoveries, dramas and especially with asurpreendente Japanese house, with walls that are large panels of paper so thin that slide back and forth, creating room in the house, as desire of its owner.

At the end of the semester, after participating actively Project Opera for All, our students literacy launch a book, prepared by them, in which rewrite and illustrate the history of opera chosen, and report what they felt when they experience the activities. The plot, the characters, the costumes of the era and the biography of great musicians are drawn from childish look. The work is the culmination of an intense process that starts with the leitur the classroom - the first contact with the history of opera - and strengthened in the presentation of the show and the production of the book, which are articulated in reading and writing , knowledge and emotion.
